One of the many consequences of the damned covid virus is a human tendency to see things in a gloomy way and to be self-centred. Sly Fly, the debut of the Amsterdam group Eyeman All Stars, seems to come from a different time period for many reasons. Inspired by funky jazz from the seventies, this quartet makes nice, everything is fine music, played as it should be.
